I’m delighted to be able to confirm (a little late I know, sorry) that Pauline Searle has be re-elected as our County Councillor for Guildford North for another four years. Pauline has a strong record of working hard for local residents and this was born out in the results with her winning by a margin of 340 votes. She is also a pleasure to work with and I look forward to doing so over the coming years.
Speaking at the count Pauline expressed her delight as re-election and outlined her priorities for the coming four years, “I hope I have won because I work hard in the community. People know that I am passionate about my area. I think that is recognised despite the national trends and changes in popularity of the parties.“My priority is to carry on what I am doing and maybe do it better. There are many wonderful initiatives like Travel Smart and I really like to see the community getting together.”
